BANGLADESH, Dhaka, 8th July 2018 - The organizers of the International Conference on Bangla Speech and Language Processing have opened up a special session for Bangla Digit Recognition which will be held on 21-22 September 2018. Apurba’s CEO, Fuad Rahman, will be the Session Chair of this session. This session will showcase some of the most innovative submissions in the highly successful recent Bengali Digit Recognition Competition organized by Bengali.AI and exclusively sponsored by Apurba Technologies.
This session is a huge opportunity for the participants to present their research on Bangla character recognition. This is the first time a special session in an international conference is being organized for a large scale competition in Bangladesh. Linking competitions to special sessions is a common practice abroad and maybe through this, Apurba and Bengali.AI are starting a new era for research in Bangladesh.
